These terms govern your use of the Vocco macOS application and the vocco.co website ("Vocco", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Vocco, you agree to them.
When you purchase Vocco you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and activate the app on up to two Macs that you own or control. The license covers the purchased version and all updates we release for it. It is a license, not a sale of the software itself; you may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the app or your license key.
Vocco includes a 14-day free trial with all features enabled. No account or payment method is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, dictation is disabled until a license is activated; your locally stored data remains readable.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, invoicing, and payment data; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Prices shown may exclude applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates at checkout. Refunds are described in our refund policy.
You may not reverse-engineer, tamper with license enforcement, or use Vocco in violation of applicable law. You are responsible for what you dictate and where you paste it.
We ship updates at our discretion. Vocco runs entirely on your device and does not depend on our servers to function; license activation and update checks are the only services we operate, and we may modify them with reasonable care not to break activated apps.
Vocco is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Transcription accuracy depends on Apple's speech engine, your hardware, and audio conditions, and is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from these terms or the app is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
