These terms govern your use of the Vocco macOS application and the vocco.co website ("Vocco", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Vocco, you agree to them.
When you purchase Vocco you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and activate the app on any Mac that you own or control, for your personal use. Two plans are offered: a lifetime license (one-time payment, covering the purchased version and all updates we release for it) and a monthly subscription (access to all features and updates while the subscription is active; when it ends, dictation is disabled and your locally stored data remains readable). Either way it is a license, not a sale of the software itself; you may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the app or your license key.
The monthly plan renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the receipt email Paddle sent you or by contacting support@vocco.co; access continues to the end of the paid period and no further charges are made.
Vocco includes a 7-day free trial with all features enabled (trials started before August 17, 2026 keep their original 14 days). No account or payment method is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, dictation is disabled until a license is activated; your locally stored data remains readable.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, invoicing, and payment data; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Prices shown may exclude applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates at checkout. Refunds are described in our refund policy.
You may not reverse-engineer, tamper with license enforcement, or use Vocco in violation of applicable law. You are responsible for what you dictate and where you paste it.
We ship updates at our discretion. Vocco runs entirely on your device and does not depend on our servers to function; license activation and update checks are the only services we operate, and we may modify them with reasonable care not to break activated apps.
Vocco is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Transcription accuracy depends on Apple's speech engine, your hardware, and audio conditions, and is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from these terms or the app is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
